friend in need
one of my  Lj friends  who is also a friend in that face to face thing we have when you dont have keys in front of you....
is having a financial crisis.
she works from home, and has a fairly good job doing transcription, but  its been lean times for all lately and THIS week has no work.... and THIS week (naturally) all her bills are coming due, including prescriptions, her internet bill (that she needs to work!)  and etc. plus rent....

Please keep her in your prayers that she has some income soon, and her bills get paid as they need to!

Prayer/energy/candles/whatever request...
Too upset to do more than forward the request -- Britt is a dear friend of mine as well.

--

Please pray for my best friend, Britt Meitzler -- you know her as apprentice #3 or magdalenaaufkdt.

On Monday she was having a pain in her leg. It just got worse and worse. So she went to see the doctor. It turns out she had a blood clot in her leg and they did emergency surgery to put an artery from her stomach in her leg to increase bloodflow.

But she had a heart attack. And then a stroke. And now she's in a coma.

She's not even 30!

Her mother's best friend just called me. Her mother can't talk because she's crying so hard.

Please, please, if you've never prayed in your life, please pray for my best friend!

--

I ask also for prayers for Kass, the friend who posted this call for help.

I'll keep folks updated. Thank you.

ladies and gentlebeings: rev up those prayer wheels...
My friend Lynn aka  ladyrowansplace on Lj has to go back to another version of chemotherapy because her cancer is resisting what they put her on.  she is also going back in for more radiation for some new lumps that look suspicious.

prayers, workings, rosaries, knocking on wood, and anything else positive always welcome.

Peaceful energy request
This is a request for peaceful energy for our geriatric collie, who is having some sort of seizure or stroke episodes (more detail on my blog).

A bit of history: We rescued her two and a half years ago, knowing we were just going to be a safe home for her until she went to the Bridge but not wanting her to spend the rest of her life scared and alone at the shelter. We soon realized after we brought her home that she was completely deaf and somewhat senile. Most of the time she knows where she is, but even when she doesn't and paces the house, she still adores being rubbed and human attention. She's been a very happy sweetheart of a dog, who has even our rambunctious border collie attending her and keeping her safe during her wanderings.

She has an appointment on Tuesday morning with a vet, who will help us determine what's best for her.

Our request: Peaceful energy for the journey ahead.

work, car, money
ok, my turn. sigh

can everyone crank up the mojo for me please?

1. we have had some "issues" with the lease for our van.  i cant post details yet.
i am asking everyone to work on best (and least expensive) possible outcome, whether that means van, or no van, or whatever. i just want it OVER.

2. wayne is still looking for work.

3. the money issues are a natural outcome of points one and two. i am pinning much of my hopes on the next two SCA events, especially Pennsic, doing good money wise.....

cross posted in my Lj

prayers please!
hi folks,
my friend  guendalina the lady who crochets beaded snoods for her SCA living..  i have just found out she is having medical issues. and going into the hospital tomorrow for "more testing".
please keep her in your thoughts, especially so that the "more testing" turns out to be something simple, easily treatable, etc.

EDIT:  update as i hoped. the mammogram that found "something suspicious" was a false positive... all clear on the re test (yes they do know what the tech saw, it isnt a problem) thanks

Lady Ro back in hopsital
ok, folks? rev up those healing prayers, reiki, whatever....
lady Ro, aka Lynn is in Baltimore Washington medical Center tonight.  Her hemoglobin? level is very low, a side effect of the chemotherapy. (she says she wasnt getting her blood work done often enough).  she is going to get a transfusion tonight, please keep her in your thoughts.

by the by, the knotted cross cord rosary i made got run through a CAT scan with no problem, the cat scan guy was impressed with it.  i am only sorry she had to use it under 'field conditions"

prayer requests
1. my friend guendalina has been having a series of horrible issues.  things stolen, irs issues, job issues, and her 40th birthday is July 1st (i think thats it. soon anyway)  please add her to your prayers, and you might consider going over and posting a "praying for you", or happy message thingy in her LJ.
(she is a very nice lady who helps people set up tents, shelters the idiots like me who dont drink enough water, and vends her hand crocheted beaded snoods at SCA events)

2. financial things are pretty bad all over, arent they? my husbands job ends soon.  my last few events have sucked big time on money... and i have bills coming up. add us to your prayers for jobs and good sales.

3. if anyone has any "car healing" ideas, i am all ears. need to take the car in, mechanic says " must go to dealership" and not looking forward to this one......

I'm having a CT/PET scan tomorrow - anything you can spare for good news, reduction of tumours, outright remission (might as well think big, no?) would be gratefully appreciated.

A request...
...from my friend Misty, for a friend of hers...

"I have a friend with a blood disease who got tainted blood the other day in a transfusion. If you would all spare a few ounces of energy for him, it would be really appreciated. He's in the ICU with bad sepsis now, and it's iffy he'll pull through."

If y'all can do anything, it'd be greatly appreciated.

A request...
A very dear friend of mine and her family have been going through some rough times.

Dee's father died a few months ago, and now her mother is having back problems to the point that she needs someone to stay with her. That's Dee...and it means she and her family are having to give up their dog and their (FIV-positive) cat. Finding a home for the latter is being especially difficult.

Her mom's come down with bronchitis, pneumonia, and a sinus infection, and is being somewhat cranky about taking proper care of herself; the rest of the family (Dee's sister and everyone's kids) are also being intermittently sick.

And on top of everything else, this Monday her husband got into a car accident with her Mom's car. No physical injuries to anyone (thank God!) but the car is totalled and everyone's shaken up.

The lot of them could use some serious help, and that's what I'm asking for for them. Light candles, chant, pray, whatever it is you do. I've been chanting to Ganesh (Dee's the one who introduced me to Him) and remembering them in my prayers every day, but the more, the better.

Thank you all.
